Since 1996, we have shared our passion for gospel, spirituals, and worship music – on stages in Germany and around the world. Our choir consists of approximately 80 singers who bring energy to every performance.

In 2021, we were awarded gold and the title of Champions as the best Gospel & Spiritual Choir at the WORLD CHOIR GAMES in Belgium. Previously, we had already received silver and gold medals in Austria.

ABOUT US.
Rejoice is directed by Roland Orthaus. He has been the cantor of the Lambertus parish in Langenberg for over 25 years, is an experienced choral educator, and a sought-after vocal coach, gospel workshop leader, choir coach, and arranger. In addition to Rejoice, Roland also directs the children's choir "Piccolos," the youth choir "Voices of Spirit," and the "Vocalensemble St. Lambertus Langenberg"—thus making a significant contribution to choral work in Langenberg with singers ranging in age from five to 85.
Today, his choirs are known far beyond the region and internationally. As a conductor, he has worked on projects including the choral musical "Bethlehem" with nearly 3,000 singers, the premiere of the choral musical "Judith – and the Miracle of Creation" with over 3,000 singers in Dortmund's Westfalenhalle, and the BVB Christmas carol concert in Dortmund's stadium before more than 70,000 people.
